Wetland
Wetlands are a vital part of our response to climate change. They have largely disappeared across much of Britain due to the draining of agricultural land. Remaining wetlands are therefore at a premium. They are a natural home and breeding ground to amphibians like toads and frogs, as well as providing a habitat for many plant and animal species, from waterfleas to mayfly larvae and water boatmen. The larvae of many species of dragonfly and damselfly can live in the freshwater of wetlands, feeding on the abundant invertebrate life.
OpenSpace have fully qualified personnel and specialised machinery and equipment for working on wetlands. Please call us about your project on 01228 711841 or email us on enquiries@openspacegb.com.
