Grasslands have flourished across the UK, being used for grazing livestock and hay production. However, as agriculture has intensified the management techniques have moved away from traditional cutting and grazing. This, in addition to increased use of herbicides and fertilisers, has led to our grasslands becoming threatened and in decline.

OpenSpace have specialist equipment and licensed staff to handle diggers and Softrak vehicles to carry out most Grassland projects. This includes cutting, seed collecting, planting, Vegetation Surveys, Habitat Management, Advisory Service, and Phase 1 Habitat Surveys.
